As we've seen my squash is out of control. I really love squash and wanted to make sure I got plenty. Every few days I cull this bed of all kinds of things. My poor root vegtables don't stand a chance with all this squash.
It seems like just two weeks ago I had flowers, now I have piles of squash - HOW DO I KNOW WHEN ITS READY?
I picked this one, and will be grilling it in a few hours (actually dang it's 630, guess I'll be doing it now!)
Look I have baby goards. Roger was right (again) why did I plant things I wasn't going to eat? I've been very harsh with their culling as they are big creapers, but I've saved a few.
This is kinda cool - I think I need another bed?!?

Fresh yellow squash, yummy!! Based on my experiences with my Grandpa's garden, it looks to me like they need to get a little bigger before you harvest them.
Yeah...probably not gonna happen. Waiting and/or patience not really two of her strong points. Just sayin'..
I only picked the big one in the picture, and I dug up a few new potatoes to go with it.
It was wonderful! Both of them! Those little potatoes might have been the best ever!
I grilled them all up with some Olive Oil and Seasoning with some chicken!
I'm done cooking for the week.
