Keep cool Seattle.
Outside of the Pacific Northwest everyone sees that Seattle is 100+ degrees, and they think "SO WHAT".
People need to understand that Seattle is used to high 70's this time of year. No-one has air conditioning. Those of us living in hot weather spend most of that time in air conditioning. We aren't really dealing with the heat.
In 1994 Seattle reached 100 degrees ... and I remember it. The house doesn't cool down, and who can sleep in 90 degree weather?
Give them a little sympathy ... think about what your life would be like without A/C in the summer?

Thank you for the sympathy - it is really hot (and humid too!) But on the bright side I can dry three loads of clothes out on the line every day!
Good for you Arden! At least there is some small bonus. I have a friend with an hvac business, call me if you need a deal on central a/c - ours is going in next week!
