And I thought my chickens were UGLY!

Why would you show us a picture of a baby bird that you know your dog is going to assassinate?
Yeah, that seems somewhat cruel...get us all attached to the baby bird, only to find out on your next post that Ripley or Ollie got to him?!
Shouldn't have taken up residence in a yard teaming with bird-dogs... It's not like there aren't other trees out there all around us that DON'T have bird dogs out by the tree every single day of the year. But this one does, and has for almost 2 years now. Dumb birds should take themselves out of the gene pool.
Well.... I can say that this one is in the front yard, so it can be quite calm out there.
But there are bird dogs just a few feet on the other side of fence.
