It's not Spenser that is getting a little brother, it's Ripley!
In the first week of January we are adopting a new pointer!
In my life - I've always thought the perfect number of dogs for me was one. However with this crazy life and commute that we have to have now - Ripley spends alot of time alone, and I want him to have a buddy.
Does Ripley want a little brother? I'm not so sure... cause Spenser doesn't!

His name is Shine - we are looking for another name (preferably two syllables) - that sounds like Shine. The only thing I really came up with ...was MoonShine.

Shoe-Shine, or Shiner, perhaps Spit-Shine. Then there's Don't Mind, Duck blind, Slimer, coal mine, or Schindler. No time, half-dime, snow-blind, blown-mind, miner/minor, Kinder, Blender, blimey, Climber, Rhymer, Tumbler, Hind end, Pine Cone, Pine Tree, dumb shit (to go with shit head - Ripley's nick name), Popeye, Schreiber, Klymer, Beyer, Binder, Barkly, Shiney. Should be able to pick something out of there.
Especially considering I haven't been home in 9 months!!!
I think I still like "moon shine." You could always blame bad behavior on the alcohol consumption.
He probably will be called dumb shit anyway, right?!

I would like to defy your preferences and suggest that you name your new addition Shiner Bock. It's a great beer even if it's brewed in Texas. My brother was no hope, he suggested Shit and Shinola.
