Is this Heaven? No - It's IOWA

Hello - this is big bird, come in NetCop.
These are our call names given to us by Mikey and Spenser. They didn't seem to like it when I was calling them the Big Yellow Bus. Roger and Mikey are driving, Spenser is probably sleeping - and I am using the "Internet Cafe" in "Big Bird".

We are on Hwy 80 on our way to Des Moines, IOWA. My watch says it is about 1pm, but I'm pretty sure that is still Seattle time. So maybe it's actually 3pm in Iowa. Iowa is much hillier than I remember, and very green. The corn is already way past knee high, and it's not the forth of July.

So far we've had no real issues. A bit of miscommunication, and we are all even on over-sleeping now. The food has not been great (except my sisters Black bottom cupcakes), and I think everyone is ready to be there.

Hello to the Podyminogin's in IOWA, I'm waving as we go through - sorry we couldn't stop by!

I can hear i-80 roar from my house in Iowa City and you did'nt stop and say HI!? Not even stop for a grilled slab of corn fed beef? Not even stop for a soft bed to sleep in for a break?
Bummer! Well, I understand you're on a mission. But, if you forgot something and need to drive back, you had better stop and say Hi!
Safe Travels!

Really Rebecca?
I forgot to look at a map to see how close you were - I was thinking you were several hours off the freeway.
That is a real bummer!
I was thinking about you guys!

I also saw someone in Eaton as I drove by (the town I grew up in), and didn't stop. How do you stop by when someone doesn't know you are coming, and think you can stop for just a few minutes.
